Imam Shamil (Eagle of Caucasus) [1797-1871]

Imam Shamil was born in Dagestan/Gimri. He was third leader of Caucasus Imamat . First Imam Gazi Muhammad had best guerilla tactics against russians but he can't create a Caucasus Imamat. Second Imam Hamzat-Beg has been killed by Hadji Murad and his friends. Imam Hamzat-Beg wanted that Shamil will be new Imam after him. After this assasination, Shamil was the Imam. He created a Imamat country in Caucasus and he used Kur'an rules in this country. He spends his life for freedom, for Caucasian people. He fighted against russians and he destroyed them more than 35 years. The russians made genocide to the Caucasians at the end of the war.
